Joseph Rietman

Director of Construction

Joseph joined Cain International in 2022 as the director of construction for the firm’s One Beverly Hills development, a 17.5-acre mixed-use urban development in the heart of Beverly Hills.

Before joining Cain International, Joseph worked for vScenario as the company’s president, where he was responsible for directing and revamping the organization’s construction management vision to support a multibillion-dollar client project portfolio. Prior vScenario, Joseph worked for Westfield as director of construction in the Southern California region. Before that, he was in a senior leadership role at Kitchell Contractor Inc., where he was responsible for leading end-to-end construction projects for industry-leading clients and the development of their BIM, MEP, and quality assurance programs.

Joseph is registered with the Constructor Certification Commission as a certified professional constructor and sits on their board of directors. He received a healthcare construction certificate from the American Hospital Association and completed OSHA 30hr. Joseph is the past national president of the American Institute of Constructors and an associate member of the Building Commissioning Association. Joseph holds a Bachelor’s in construction management and electrical technology from Purdue University.

Joseph is also the founder of the Honey Badger Classic Fundraiser, an annual sporting clay competition he organized to develop relationships between retired special forces and special operations forces, and public businesses and raise funds to support the families of fallen soldiers. He also conducts fundraising for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Rady Children's Hospital.
