Sunny Shah

Associate

Sunny Shah joined Cain International in 2022. He works with the firm’s real estate equity team in New York and supports the firm’s current investment portfolio. In addition to sourcing and executing new investments, Sunny is responsible for underwriting, due diligence, closing, and asset management.

Before joining Cain International, Sunny worked for Saxum Real Estate as an associate responsible for the origination, underwriting, financing, and closing activities of Saxum’s acquisition and joint venture opportunities. Prior to Saxum, Sunny worked for Annaly Capital Management, where he was a member of the Commercial Real Estate Group and focused on transitional lending opportunities across all property types throughout the U.S. Prior to Annaly, Sunny began his career at Altus Group, focusing on real estate valuations.

Sunny holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from Pennsylvania State University.
