In August 2022 Cain, together with affiliates of Stonebriar Commercial Finance, provided a mezzanine construction loan for the development of IQHQ’s Research and Development District (‘RaDD’).
RaDD is a 1.7M sq. ft. life science focused, mixed use site situated on the Downtown San Diego, Calif. waterfront.
Upon completion the site will comprise five buildings of life science focused office and laboratory space, as well as retail, an event space and public amenities.
RaDD will further incorporate high sustainability standards, including a 100% carbon neutral base building design, 1 MW+ maximum solar generation, and over 300 EV enabled parking spaces.
