James joined Cain in January 2022 as a member of its legal team. He provides support to the firm’s investments across the U.K., Europe and the U.S.
Before joining Cain, James worked as an associate in the real estate transactions team at CMS, where he focused on real estate investment, development, finance and joint venture transactions. James was seconded for one year to the Group Legal team of Legal & General PLC where he worked predominantly on major urban regeneration schemes. Prior to CMS, James also worked in the London office of White & Case.
James holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Bristol and completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at BPP in Holborn.
