Matteo Busetti
Vice President
Matteo joined Cain International in 2019 and specialises in real estate equity investments. During his time at the firm, he has worked across projects spanning multiple asset classes including residential, office, hospitality & leisure, retail and other emerging sectors across the firm’s European real estate portfolio.
Before joining Cain International, Matteo worked at Cromwell Property Group where he helped manage a 52-asset, €650 million value-add fund focused on the retail, logistics and commercial sectors. He also assisted in the acquisition of office and logistics assets totalling €350 million across Finland and France. Prior to Cromwell, Matteo held a position at BNP Paribas in Milan.
Matteo is a charter holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute and holds a Master of Science in structural engineering from UNSW Australia. He is fluent in Italian.
